DOOGAL

Doogal, our Copper Toxicosis lad, is still doing wonderfully at 10 years old! He

recently had his routine blood tests (as he does every three months) to make sure

everything is well, and we’re pleased to report that his liver is continuing to function

just as it should.

At the same time, he had a dental check along with a scale and polish - no
extractions needed - and he now has a lovely set of pearly whites to see him through

his senior years!

He is gradually losing his sight, although it certainly doesn’t hold him back. It does,

however, keep his wonderful foster mum busy making sure the house is shipshape

and free of any obstacles that might take him by surprise. While his vision isn’t what

it once was, his hearing is still excellent and his nose never fails him - he can detect

his dinner being served even when he’s at the other end of the garden!

Doogal still enjoys his walks, and we keep a close eye on his mobility to ensure he

remains comfortable as he gets older. His foster mum knows him so well that she is

always quick to notice even the smallest changes.

Doogal is ticking along nicely and sends his heartfelt thanks to all his Sponsors for

their continued support and kindness.
