We have a message from forever foster dog, Doogal that he has asked us to share
with you all!!

Hello to my supporters and special sponsors, I really want to share some lovely news

with you! As you know, I’m a BTRF forever foster dog who came into BTRF’s care
almost five years ago now, suffering from that awful condition we Beddies can suffer
from, Copper Toxicosis. Because of this I will never be adopted instead I will stay in

forever foster care where the BTRF care team can keep a very close eye on me.

Of course, my foster parent is very happy with that arrangement as she loves me
soooooooo much and could never part with me and I wouldn’t want to leave

because the feeling is very mutual. Ha ha, this happens most of the time with BTRF
dogs that are fostered – they never leave! What foster carer could part with us!!!!

Oops sorry – I digress!! So, to my good news! As most of you know, I have to have a
carefully managed diet with special supplements, and I also need regular 3 monthly

blood tests to check how my liver is behaving. Well, I had some blood taken again
recently and everything is spot on – no changes needed at all not even to my diet,

which I am glad about because I love my dinners!

As you can imagine my foster mum is so relieved – we can breathe a big sigh of relief
again for another few months!
