THE TALES OF BLUMERLE
‘Sadly Merlin went to sleep on a chilly morning in
January and has now joined Blue. He was very ill
and we knew he had had enough, so we did the
kindest thing and let him go. He passed away
very peacefully and with dignity with ourselves
and Jed sat with him, he even managed a little
tail wag before he left us as though to say a final
goodbye. Rest well our sweet boy it was a
privilege knowing you and loving you, we will
miss you forever and you will always be in our
hearts, now go and be with Blue’.
BTRF’s thoughts are with Merlin’s family at this sad time - Merlin was a very special
foster lad who was adopted by his lovely foster carers a few years ago. BTRF would
like to thank them for giving Merlin an amazing few years while in their care - he will
be sadly missed by us all.
Run free little man, we know you will be together with Blue again and all your other
BTRF buddies.
Another big thank you to our friend Nicola Spink from
Lottie long legs cards who made a donation of £125
to BTRF from the sales of her beautiful cards and gifts over
the last few months.
We are very grateful to her as always and of course to
the supporters who bought items as BTRF benefits
from every sale.
