This page lists only some of the Bedlingtons and their crosses for rehoming that we currently have in our care. As we have a list of people wanting to rehome we always go to this list first when a dog comes in to us for rehoming. The dogs listed on here are dogs which we feature to help us with their rehoming if we do not have a potential home that exactly meets these dogs needs.
If you would like to be added to our list please complete a HOME ENQUIRY FORM for us and your local Area Coordinator will make contact with you.
For further details please contact our Director, Frances Fuller on 01559 384499 / 07398 779515 or alternatively you can email her at email@example.com
Bedlington Terrier Rescue Foundation would like to point out that with any breed of dog that needs rehoming the first port of call, if not the original breeder, should always be the appropriate Breed Rescue website. These will be able to contact potential new owners who are looking to rehome that specific breed.
Beddie x Lakeland
We need your help to rehome a special little girl!
Disco is a 3 and half year old Bedlington cross Lakeland terrier currently in the Bristol area. She is a gorgeous little girl who needs to be in a quiet, calm household as she finds too much stimulation over-whelming.
We are looking for a home with no small children and only sensible older ones who can help with her ongoing training. We also need a detached home, ideally in a country location to provide a quieter environment. No cats or small furries. Another dog may be possible but they must be a calm and placid temperament to help provide the right gentle interactions and relationship for Disco.
WE ARE CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH THE USUAL CHECKS FOR A POSSIBLE HOME FOR DISCO
Paddy - The 'Padsta'!
Can you offer a home to Paddy?
Paddy, or the 'Padsta' as he is affectionately known within the BTRF team, is an 14 month old neutered blue Bedlington. He is currently in foster care with us and working closely with Lisa Webb, our appointed behaviourist. He has problems feeling comfortable about sharing things that he considers are valuable to him. Our foster carers are working through this with Lisa to help him understand that sharing these valuable things is much more rewarding! This work will need to be continued in the new home. BTRF will appoint a behaviourist and cover the cost of this back up and support.
This lad has amazing learning potential as the foster carers have already seen!
BTRF have a number of Area Coordinators around the country.
Please be aware that many of the coordinators that volunteer for BTRF also have full time jobs but they will make contact with you as soon as possible
