I've always had a passion for animals and voluntary work. I spent all my university years volunteering in Community Action and headed up my own volunteer project with the local Riding for the Disabled group. I've also spent many years volunteering with a local rabbit rescue in Hertfordshire where I lived until this summer before moving to Wales.
Although I grew up with dogs (and cats, chickens, gerbils...), I've never had a Bedlington in my life, although I am able to get my Beddie 'fix' by snuggling and seeing pictures of my brother and his partner Natalia's pair of beautiful Bedlingtons. It was through Natalia that I was introduced to this amazing group and my partner and I are looking forward to the day when we can adopt our own.
A Registered Veterinary Nurse by trade, I now teach clinical skills to vet and veterinary nursing undergraduates full time. I'm really excited to join the Bedlington Terrier Rescue Foundation and really hope that my years of clinical experience will enable me to be a useful addition to the group.
