Welcome to the Bedlington Terrier Rescue website!

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Bedlington Terrier Rescue and Rehoming Group’s website!

Bedlington Rescue LogoThe Group was set up by the late Barbara Butcher MBE and Phyllis Cooper some quarter of a century ago as a private organisation. They spent many years, rescuing and rehoming Bedlingtons.

The current team of volunteers continue to offer their spare time for free to help this wonderful breed.

We are totally self funded and work extremely hard to raise the necessary monies to be able to continue helping rescued Bedlingtons that need ‘forever’ homes.

After Barbara Butcher’s death in 2004, Frances Fuller was asked to take over the running of the group, which she agreed to do and continues as Group Co-ordinator today.

Please feel free to have a look round our site and if you would like any further information you can either contact Frances on 01559 384499 or email us at info@bedlingtonrescue.co.uk

Please can you help Tyson?

Tyson is a 2 year old 3 legged Bedlington currently at the Essex RSPCA Centre.

His 'playmate' was rehomed recently which left him in the centre on his own. He damaged his leg in his kennel and sadly had to have it amputated.

He badly needs a forever home - can you help?
