Profile on Little Doogal...
Six years ago this September, our forever foster dog Doogal came into our care with copper
toxicosis.
As many of you will know, Doogal needs regular blood tests to monitor his liver function and
help us keep him as happy and healthy as possible. We are delighted to report that his latest
results were very positive! His current diet and supplement routine are working well, and no
changes are needed.
Doogal is getting older and, with that, there are naturally a few age-related issues to navigate.
He has some arthritic changes, which are being closely monitored, and his sight is now
beginning to fade. However, none of this stops him from thoroughly enjoying life!
He hasn’t been quite so enthusiastic about the recent heat, but nothing that a few strategically
positioned fans can’t solve!
Our heartfelt thanks go to Doogal’s dedicated foster parent, his fabulous vet and everyone who
supports his care.
A very special thank you must also go to everyone who sponsors Doogal through our Sponsor
a Foster Dog Scheme. Your generosity helps to make his ongoing care possible.
