CELEBRITY JUDGE

A real-life Eastender, Cheryl was born in Bethnal Green on
8th March 1954. Her bubbly personality was evident even

in the early days of “Bucks Fizz” when they won the
Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin in 1981. They went on to
gain world-wide recognition with a string of more than

20 hit records including three number ones, “The Land Of
Make Believe”, “My Camera Never Lies” and, of course,

“Making Your Mind Up” which went to No. 1 in nine
                                       countries around the world.

After leaving Bucks Fizz in 1993 to have her twin daughters, Cheryl rejoined

Mike Nolan and Jay Aston in the 00s to form The Fizz. Mike retired in
November 2024 and was replaced by Matthew Pateman and Nikk Mager. They
continually perform at festivals, 80s weekends and corporate events around the

country, on cruise ships and abroad.

Cheryl started her TV presenting career in 1984 and, since then, has presented or
appeared in countless TV shows including Eggs 'n' Baker, The Eleventh Hour and the

legendary Record Breakers, which she presented for 11 series.

Cheryl is a favourite guest on many prime-time tv programmes and has recently been
involved in Richard Osman’s House of Games, Celebrity Mastermind, The Chase,

Countdown and Bridge of Lies. In 2018 she was one of the skating celebrities in
Dancing On Ice. Other shows include The 1970s Dinner Party, Celebs at Christmas

and Celebrity Escape to the Country. She was absolutely thrilled to be asked to
appear in an episode of Eastenders in 2023.

Cheryl has appeared in many theatre shows including “Happy Days The Musical”,

“Dial ‘M’ For Murder”, “Footloose the Musical”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Beauty & The
Beast”, “Honk!”, “Seussical the Musical”, “Menopause the Musical”, “Mixed Feelings”
