• Morag Sutherland

  • Morag is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, (important as often there are health issues involved in animals’ behaviour) and has been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers since 2003 and an assessor for prospective new members and on the committee of the Association, so she is now involved in developing the future!

Morag and Kaye work alongside each other not only with the APDT  but also on the team at BTRF.  Morag is the charity's Veterinary Liaison Officer and is able to offer advice where a rescue dog needs medical care and support.

She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in November 1989, and has worked in practice for most of the time since. She now mainly works in training and behaviour, but still locums for an emergency clinic regularly and odd days in a variety of other practices from time to time.

She is also an Authorised Trainer for the RDUK Facebook group (Reactive Dogs UK), supporting guardians of reactive dogs. This is an important asset to us at BTRF as she is able to help and advise on reactive dogs that often come to us.

Morag is also our nutrition guru - she has a huge amount of experience advising on diet and in particular, raw feeding.

Here she is photographed with our boy Ralphy Ralph Dog!
