• Lorraine Godfrey (Adv Dip CBM)

  • My name is Lorraine Godfrey and I live in Kent UK. I have shared my life with dogs plus other animals such as horses, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits and chinchillas.

I ran my own animal rescue for 17 years and my own business as a canine beautician for 15 years. I also have two rescue dogs and two rescue horses so I am well used to working in the rescue world and understand the challenges that this can bring!

In 2006 I began my studies in horses and obtained an Equine Behaviour Qualification. I continued with my studies this time in Canine Behaviour and Training. I have an advanced diploma in Canine Behaviour and Management and am currently undertaking my Graduate Diploma in Animal Behaviour Management. I am a member of the Pet Professional Guild, a provisional member of The Canine Behaviour and Training Society working towards my full membership and a full member of The International Canine behaviourists.

I also instruct with Kaye Scott at the Sevenoaks & District Dog Training Society and it was through her that I became involved with BTR!

I am very much enjoying being part of the BTR team as the Kent Area Coordinator and working with them to help rescued Bedlingtons find their new homes.
